Keaney’s Drama classes give students a chance to discover all aspects of performing arts including:
Process Drama; (helps develop empathy skills)
Speech work through drama games
Storytelling, improvisation, poetry
Puppetry, drawing, crafts
Acting, Mime, performance techniques
Special themed weeks, talent show/show & tell
Meet your Drama Teacher
My name is Danielle, I love to act, dance and play drama games to help me get to know my students. My drama classes are a space where you can come and express yourselves. We will explore techniques like acting, mime, movement, voice work, improvisation and story telling.

About your Drama Teacher:
Danielle Keaney completed her B.A. Honours Degree in Performing Arts in 2011 and went on to become an actress in theatre and film. After some years she decided to combine her love of the arts and teaching children by completing a Higher Diploma in Drama Education. Danielle is now a qualified educator from the Leinster School of Music & Drama.
Her passion is to help her students build their confidence & social skills using drama & performance strategies in a safe and encouraging environment.
Danielle has experience teaching in after school drama classes in County Mayo, County Wicklow and in County Dublin, teaching drama to children and adults with special needs and working in national schools using drama to help students with subjects they learned in class. She also has experience teaching in performing arts summer camps in Ireland and teaching drama and other subjects in an international school in Verona, Italy.

€10 per class per student
Or €80 for an 8 week term
Thursdays
3:30-4:30pm 4-7 year olds
4:30-5:30pm 8-12 year olds
